Messiah Lutheran Church, Lakeville, is conducting "40 Days of Prayer," a study based on the classic book Prayer by O. Hallesby. Kickoff for the study was Sunday, January 27th. The evening featured David Wheaton as the guest speaker.

Wheaton is an author, speaker, radio talk show host, as well as a professional tennis player. His first book, University of Destruction, was released in 2005 by Bethany House and has reached as high as #25 on Amazon. He is also the host of The Christian Worldview, a weekly radio program for Salem Communications in Minneapolis/St. Paul. In addition, David is a sought-after speaker to both Christian and corporate groups and is a contributing columnist for the Minneapolis Star Tribune.
