New Member Classes at Messiah

Interested in becoming a member of Messiah Lutheran Church? Anyone desiring membership, regardless of previous church affiliation, is required to attend a New Member class. Contact the Church Office if you'd like to register for an upcoming class (the next class date has not been set at this time). Please provide your names, contact information, and, if child care is required, the first names and ages of  your children. New members are officially be brought into membership during worship services two weeks later during all worship services. New members can attend whichever service they prefer.

The class is designed to provide all of the information necessary to make the decision whether or not to join our church. The class covers the following topics:

• A history of Messiah as a congregation and how God has blessed us;
• An overview of what we believe;
• An introduction to our staff and their areas of responsibility;
• A tour of Messiah's facilities;
• What benefits a member can expect from Messiah after joining;
• The expectations Messiah has of its members;
• An introduction to Messiah's programs and ministries;
• Our vision and goals as a congregation; and
• An opportunity for questions and feedback.
